The New Cognetti Family

A mafia based on the goblin under family system

The Cognetti Family does not exist… at least if you were to believe the rumors from the Trade Prince. You may have heard the offices of the legitimite Cognetti Industries business entity were firebombed after slanderous rumors of a supposed crime family spiraled out of control. You may have also heard this very same crime family is starting to recover from these attacks.

The existence of the Cognetti Crime Family is a lie, one propagated by vicious slander from rival merchants and overzealous law officers. Ask anyone rumored to have ties with this fictitious organization and you’ll hear the same thing: they don’t know anything. They might also tell you to go fuck yourself, but the gist is the same. There is no mafia, goblin or otherwise, there’s just a lot of crazy stories.

Circle of the Fifth/Fifth Relief Regiment

Type of guild: RP/PvE

Leader: Commander Balthimos

Rule Enforcement: Moderate

Guild ranks: RP related only (some are exceptions)

Eversong Ranger Corps

Members of the Sin'dorei Militia work together with the Farstriders to create the Corps.

Their mandate is to protect Quel'Thalas, which includes Silvermoon, Eversong Woods, Ghostlands, and the Isle of Quel'Danas.

The Farstriders have long been considered valiant and honorable elves who regarded the law with deep respect and faith. They are the epitome of selfless dedication. These men and women are dedicated to their position and to their people, much like most members of any military. Due to their ties to the land, these rangers tend to be spiritually, mentally, and physically healthier than many other blood elves.

The Aegis

The Aegis is a small military unit built to protect the Hordes points of interest

Welcome and thanks for joining The Aegis.

The Winterspring Requiem

A roleplaying guild that wishes to bring in a mixture of PvE content as well.

The Cataclysm, caused by Deathwing the Destroyer, tore the entire world of Azeroth (save for Northrend for some reason) asunder.  At the height of this destruction, the Horde had begun to seize the opportunity to catch the Alliance off-guard and assault several key areas, such as Ashenvale, Darkshore, and even Hillsbrad.  Meanwhile, the ex-warchief Thrall went to Nagrand to go back to his shamanistic heritage, making Garrosh Hellscream the new warchief of the Horde.  His savagery may have given him many recent victories, but a rift begins to form between the Horde leaders...

Apostles of the Ancients

Friendly guild seeking any of the lighter sode of caster classes.

A branch of the Cenarion Circle has emerged as a new power in Azeroth. Lead by the inspiration of Malfurion Stormrage, the druids have opened up to the many other religions and ideals, inviting all who would wish to aid them in the shattered and war torn world of Outland, as well as their own back doors in Azeroth.

The Wolfsbane Society

The anti-worgen worgen guild.

The Wolfsbane Society is a group of dedicated, some might say delusional, souls who refuse to accept the worgen curse. Members range from well-meaning cure seekers who mean no harm, to blood-thirsty fanatics who treat 'lost' worgen (i.e. those who revel in their cursed form) like mad dogs.

The Cognetti Family

A goblin mafia (which is like the regular mafia, but with more explosions), simple as that.

The Cognetti Family does not exist… unless of course you mean the family behind Cognetti Industries, a perfectly legit trade corporation.

La Bella Morte

A Burlesque Night Club. The penny theare is situated in Murder Row, open nightly, with food, drinks, dancing and more...

A Burlesque Night Club that operates nightly down the street from Murder Row, employs many of the misfits and outcasts of Silvermoon's ilk.

(Ooc Note: Morte is currently expanding, any rpers interested in joining the guild can speak with Synnaquin, Syrahe, Joyia or Atrelia. We are a level 7 (and climbing guild with just enough buffs to help all your baby rp alts out! You do not have to work for the Club to be part of the Guild. You can work for the Club and be in another Guild. If you are interested in helping out on event nights, even BETTER! Thank you for your time, and enjoy the drama.)

The Dark Sentinels

We are primarily an RP and leveling guild that may develop into doing raiding and/or PvP if we have enough members interested

The Dark Sentinels was founded by Barmoth, Ambassador, Knight-Lieutenant in the Alliance army, Crusader of the Argent Crusade, and member of the Explorer’s League.  Barmoth was charged with the building of a privately operated militia for defending and helping the cities and towns of the Alliance, and aiding the Alliance military where needed due to the troops being spread so thin.  This charge came directly from a meeting of Alliance leaders, ambassadors, and military officers that gathered to discuss the weakened army spread thin over Northrend.  It was decided that private militias would be formed of willing volunteers that would be headed by select individuals present at the meeting, Barmoth, being one such individual, was asked to head those primarily that traveled the nights.<

Pox

Pox is war. We kill. We capture. We enslave and make profits. We are here to destroy our enemies.

Welcome to the RPH page for Pox.

Pox was created March 13, 2007, and has been led since inception by the Lady Shryn'Dael Sunwalker, of Houses Sunwalker and Dawningsun.

The guild is transitioning back to a heavier level of role-play and currently seeks individuals interested in going to war and wreaking havoc for the expansion.

Those interested in the guild are invited to visit our website at www.wearepox.com

Cabal

A group of unfortunate souls united by something none of them fully understands.

You are so screwed.

The Shadows Embrace

Horde faction RP

((Spot saver for things to come with Cataclysm. TSE is in the process of rebuilding, and will bring more information as changes come.))

The Shadows Embrace

Horde faction RP guild who disagrees with the current Sin'dorei government structure.

The Shadows Embrace is a World of Warcraft, Horde faction, RP guild on Shadow Council. We are a darker themed role-playing guild whose sole purpose is to liberate the Sin'dorei people from the careless hand of their government. Does your character have what it takes to make a stand? Do they want to see change? Are they willing to risk it all for a better tomorrow?

Ziondeh

Troll tribe

Ziondeh,
In Zandali this word means Destiny and Harmony. Founded by the Primal Dutaee Din'cu, this tribe the stepping stone in his hope of once again bringing the the splitntered and divided troll tribes together once in a bid to prevent the continued erosion of the race as a whole.

It is his hope, that in accepting those of any tribe under the banner of Ziondeh, he might find a way to overcome those blood-hatreds and ancient feuds that keep the Tribes appart. But the path is full of pitfalls and dangers as he knows gathering so many together will undoubtly lead to bloodshed as old hatreds collide, and he understands his goal may be more than a bit Idealistic.

In the end, Ziondeh stands for what could be, and it is up to the trolls who gather under it's cause to find the path to the tribe's namesake.

The Gray Myst

"One giant place for all Gray Myst fun"

Academy of Stormwind

A school of a differing sort.

"Tired of seeing the youth waste their lives pursuing powers they barely grasp in knowledge, much less understand? Ever been shunned or excommunicated by those of your own trade simply for having a differing outlook on what it is that you do? Soon, the doors will open for a new kind of school specifically for these reasons.

The Academy of Stormwind is seeking experienced part-time teachers and tenured professors to teach both the young and young at heart. All matters of Magic, Arcanic, and even Runic use apply and is encouraged. If your perspective differs from that of your peers, this is your opportunity to spread your thoughts unto other minds."

We strive to be a strong, serious, professional roleplaying group...

Delicious Dinners

Dining upon the finest foods in Azeroth!

"Naught good will come of ye waging war on an empty stomach, lad. I made ye some roasted boar with all the sundries. Eat up! And there be a nice keg of ale for afters too. Don't that sound better than moldy trail rations?" -- Derdriu Stonemantle

Order of the Holy Cross

((A medium RP guild with a family-friendly atmosphere))

"One day, Peace will reign throughout all the lands.  But until that day comes, we will stand and fight..."

Greetings fellow adventurers!  I am Shylah Swan, Knight-Captain of the Alliance forces and dragonslayer-in-training!  The Argent Crusade has given me the task of organizing a holy order for the purpose of training Knights who are devoted to justice.  Our first mission: train to infiltrate Arthas' domain for intelligence gathering!  Toward that end, I have assembled a small, but growing, band of adventurers, with some already earning and receiving Knighthood.  This is relatively remarkable, especially considering sometimes this group acts more like a raucous band of pirates than a holy order.  <sigh>  But that's ok... I'm sure they will come around...

Druids of the Grove

Heavy Rp guild

 Druids of the Grove

we are a family of druids lead by the great Sentian Nightclaw a young Druid of the Claw. The Druids of the Grove are a new faction split off of the cenarian circle that no longer wish to do nothing about War we will fight in the name of Elune finally bringing the fight too the Horde Cities and villages. The Druids of the Grove is a place for Druids to join the fight and bring peace an balance to Azeroth. but Sentian knows the only way to do that is to go to war.

Commonwealth

A guild for Alliance adventurers of modest ability and resources.

We live in an age of adventure, but not every adventurer is cut from the same cloth. Through dedication, innate talent, good fortune or various combinations thereof, some ascend to the highest plateau that mortals can reach. Wielding weapons of legend and slinging spells of extraordinary power, they put their lives on the line against the most destructive forces of Azeroth and beyond, changing our world in significant ways. They are champions of the people, and tales of their epic deeds will be told for many generations to come.

Commonwealth is not a guild for those people.

The Ebon Hand

An organization of like-minded Death Knights seeking to help and protect one another as we make our transition into the free-minded.

The Ebon Hand is a group of like-minded Death Knights who have broken from Arthas and serve under Darion Mograine.  We believe in helping our fellow brothers and sisters of the darkness re-adjust to their new lives free of the Lich King, and promise to help provide protection from both the Scourge and those of the Alliance who have not yet accepted us as we move forward in this, the hour of our rising.

Champions of the Night

We come together as family dedicated to the ways of Knights. We are not all noble, we earned it.

We are a dedicated community of gamers, primarily made up of Role-Players who work to provide mutual assistance and support to each other, regardless of level. Our goal is to create an environment for players that is friendly, fun, supportive and respected.

Twilight Court

A grouping of the new, up-in-coming villians of Azeroth, alliance side. With a touch of elegance and a hit of corruption.

Members of Twilight Court are generally of a noble class and hold to a high standard of both themselves and those around them.  They desire greater wealth, power and knowledge and will do almost anything to get them as well as remove any standing in thier way.

Acts of Repentance

A covert Alliance guild, giving those who've done things wrong a chance to set things right.

Acts of Repentance is a recently established Alliance-side guild, intended to be a good-aligned organization for characters who have committed considerably less-than-good deeds.  A covert group that operates largely under the radar of Alliance authority, its members seek redemption by helping the citizens of Azeroth to the best of their ability, particularly in situations where the law would be unable to help them quickly or adequately enough.  If you'd like to join, contact Paja or Lasche in-game!

For more information, see this post.

The Wolvenfang Institute

A Clandestine Organization which works for the Protection of Azeroth.

The Wolvenfang Institute is one founded after the First War by a noble known as Lord Aedilus Wolvenfang, leader of the Wolvenfang Estate. Once all seemed lost for the humans and Lord Anduin Lothar retreated to Lordearon, Aedilus began his own private study of the Orcs and all other threats to Azeroth, deeming it his own "Institute". As time progressed, the Institute became more renown in it's own way and was soon promoted to an official government organization under The Alliance of Lordaeron.

Soon the influence expanded and power transfered less from Stormwind and more to King Terenas Menethil II. After the Second War, the Institute was at it's hight, recieving massive amounts of funding from King Menethil and the rest of the Alliance, it held more power than it could be responsible for. The knowledge of Azeroth was great, but Azeroth's knowledge of it was very little.

The Three Pillars
