Character Biography

History/Biography

Delphiee was born and raised an only child on a small farm in Westfall by her mother and father. Her mother was a care-giver, specializing in treatment and healing practices for animals, a skill she shared with Del. Her father was a paladin-turned farmer and since a young age it had been her dream to train to become a paladin as he had been.

At some point in her youth she lost many memories of her childhood and what happened to her family. In recent years bits and pieces of memory are returning to her, though she spends little time trying to fit them together to solve the puzzle, fearing discovering what she obviously repressed.

As a young adult making a fresh start in Stormwind she was mute for some time. Young, inexperienced, easily embarrassed and beyond clumsy she had little social interaction and spent much of her time playing flute or sketching in her notepad as well as in extensive training in the Cathedral to pursue her goals.

She met and fell in love with a priestess named Sowelu and asked for her hand in marriage, but before they could exchange vows Delphiee left Stormwind, and her fiance, in pursuit of inner strength and self discovery. She returned only to learn of Sowelu's death by walking in on her funeral.

Shortly after, Delphiee petitioned to join the Silver Dragoons as a way to honor Sowelu's memory as well as find a new home for herself. While Commander Bennett Harrigan in the beginning was weary of Del's reasons for joining she strove to prove her value and dedication, even being promoted to the office of Corporal. Some months after joining the Dragoons she developed feelings for Harrigan and they began an affair that lasted over a year.

Delphiee, finally realizing that no amount of love for him would force him to reciprocate her feelings, was able to amicably end their affair. Partly with the help of some much needed advice from a good friend, and partly due to growing interest in another man who inspired her to turn her life around for the better.

In what she viewed to be a sham of a trial the Silver Dragoons were dissolved leaving her angry, scared, and confused. She gathered her few belongings from the barracks in the Keep and moved in with her partner, Staroada, and is currently searching for how to rebuild the only family she knows.
