Character Biography
- History/Biography
Echo was born in the Hillsbrad region before the Second War, daughter of a merchant who ran a trading post along the river. After surviving the Second War, she was taken by her uncle to Loch Modan, where she was inspired by the Dwarven Mountaineers to take up hunting, shooting, and tracking.
Returning to Southshore in her late teens, she joined the Southshore militia, and worked her way up to a guard position at the Lordamere Internment Camp, also hunting down rogue orcs in the mountains. Eventually she was transferred to Dalaran, working as a City Guard during the rise of the Cult of the Damned.
When Dalaran fell in the Third War, she was shipped off with a number of surviving units to join the Alliance forces sailing to Kalimdor. At the Battle of Mount Hyjal, she survived to earn a place among the elite 7th Legion. Her travels with them included guarding the building of Theremore, marching to Silithus for the War of the Shifting Sands, traveling to Outlands to march on the Black Temple, and finally being shipped off to Wintergarde Keep in Northrend.
Once Naxxramas was under control, Echo was transferred to the Skybreaker as a Marine and Marksman, and later to the Ramparts of Icecrown Citadel. Upon venturing into the Citadel, she succumbed to a nervous breakdown, and was discharged honorably from the Alliance Military.
Unable to quite settle into civilian life (despite finding a wonderful girlfriend - at long last - in Credence Black) Echo has taken up her rifle and bow again, this time to begin the fight against yet another Doomsday Cult threatening her way of life. As she slips back into her role as a career soldier, she finds herself getting more and more comfortable as a mercanary in Elrin Kast's Ghost Scions.
